All benchmarks were obtained on one core of an Intel Core-i7 6600U (Skylake) CPU. We report benchmarks of two different implementations: a C reference implementation and an optimized implementation using AVX2 vector instructions.

Is this even a good comparison?

Dilithium is already faster than classical cryptography in every benchmark, however, it does take up more space. What is the point of accelerating Dilithium when it is faster than the current implementation? Is it for PKI or theoretical purposes?
